After a sold-out run in August, PJ Library's original musical will be presented at the Brooklyn Children's Museum!
When their ice breaks off in the Arctic Ocean, three polar bears set on a journey to find new friends to visit in never-before-seen destinations. Guided by warming currents and a boastful and witty seagull, the polar bears have hilarious interactions with animals they meet along the way, including a languid sloth, pretentious giraffes, an indecisive hippo, among others. Inspired by the PJ Library book, Welcome, this humorous and touching musical will be a joy for children and parents alike, inviting everyone to become full participants in the protagonists' journey. The musical is performed in Russian. Ideal for ages 4+ but all are welcome! Light noshes and beverages will be served after the performance.
Families can opt to purchase tickets + discounted museum admission, and check out the "Survival of the Slowest," an exhibit featuring Roger, a real-life sloth before/after the performance. There are a myriad of wonderful things to do at the Museum with your children!
